Hi. I'm Kristin. Yep, that's me in the photo., which I believe was taken in the year 1850.

Okay, no...despite the salt and pepper hair, I'm not that old. Yet. But I guess when you think about it, none of us are getting out of this thing alive, so we might as well have a bit of fun while we're here.  That's where this blog comes in.  There are all sorts of fallacies floating around out there about those of us who blog about fashion, beauty, pop culture...you name it. Perhaps the most annoying misconception is that these things are somehow at odds with being a fully-realised, intelligent human being. Or that it can't be for a woman of a certain age. Or that because it's modern, commercial or constantly evolving, it's not to be considered "real art". This, as they say where I come from, is bull crap.

So here's what you need to know about me, for real this time: Wisconsin "Cheesehead", child of the early 70s, currently lives in Scotland and also sometimes in Florida, writer, blogger, ex professional saxophonist, current once in a while saxophonist, sometimes actor, Air Force veteran, nurse, massage therapist, and lifelong horse person.

So far. I like to change it up every now and again. You know, keep things fresh.

And now for the fine print

The (rather stubborn) opinions expressed on this blog are my own.

I do accept certain select products for the purpose of review, but any recommendations I make are products and services that I myself have selected to showcase because they are interesting to me and (hopefully) to my readers.  Or maybe said products are just funny. That happens sometimes. Whatever the case may be, if anything has been gifted to me or is a part of a promotional campaign of any sort, it will be very clearly tagged as such.

This blog participates in the Reward Style and Amazon influencers platform, where linked images and products may generate income. We're talking a very, veeeery little bit of income here people, so let's not get too excited.

Links to my Etsy shops take you to...wait for it....Etsy. Everything you see there was handmade by me.

Please feel free to borrow any images you see fit from this site. However, don't be a jerk about it  - please link back to this blog if you are able.
